I’d love to invite you to come on a 12 week life.cation with me.
Do you start Sunday feeling dread for Monday, for the working week to come, even when your weekend hasn’t yet finished? Feeling like you’re on wheel, with each day resembling the last (or at least the feelings behind it), kinda like that movie ‘Groundhog’ day where you feel like you’re living the same day over and over again.
I’ve been there. Where you are. And to be honest … it sucked.
While I thought I was happy (and I generally was) I had a feeling like there was more than this.
I was stressed (it showed up in my body), I worked crazy hours, and although I couldn’t see it at the time, the beliefs, and perceptions that I had taken on when I was young guided who I was, how I showed up at work and in my personal life, and I did worry for what was to come and how I could prepare for it.
I read inspiring books about the importance of getting up every day feeling like I loved life, I did what I thought was ‘the work’ but it still felt like it was out of reach. That is … until I took myself on a life.cation!
A life.cation! you ask … what is that?
How good are holidays! Do you find when you’re on vacation you seem to do things you’d not usually do, feel relaxed, have fun and adventure, you think about things differently – you’re almost a different person. I’ve discovered a secret … it’s because you are ‘present’.
Here’s an idea … what if, you lived in that state … all the time. Approach life (yes even work) from that same vacation mindset. Be that ‘different person’ all the time. How good would that be?
We give so much power to that word – holidays – and with it often the false idea that you can only act and thinks certain ways while on holidays. BUT what I’ve found is that you can live in the present moment, live life from the mindset like you’re on holidays … every day, in every moment. I’ll share with you everything I know and give you the chance to do the same.
I call it the 12-week life.cation. I’ll support you to address your stress, be there to guide as you process your thoughts and get them on track to where you want them to be, spend your time doing the things that make you feel good, all while still being productive in your life and job (even more so).
We’ll look at past experiences that have impacted how you think, feel and act. We’ll help you get in touch with your vision for the future and line up what you do now with who you are and what you value.
This is a 12-week initial journey, where you commit to yourself to see what living life free of that Sunday night pit in your stomach.
Over this time, we’ll invest over 10 hours together, with additional time spent on activities and focus work outside of this.
At the end of the 12 weeks, we’ll chat about what the next steps might look like (the possibilities are endless!)
Why 12 weeks? I hear you ask …
Because real change happens as you continue to progress through sessions, one off success is great! But 12 weeks with several wins is even better!
Now a disclaimer is important. I want to be real. Shifting into this mindset doesn’t mean you won’t have challenging moments in life ever again, but what it will do is support you to genuinely approach things differently when or if they do come up.
